MYC Sunfish Regatta

Lakefest Weekend

Hosted by Maxinkuckee Yacht Club

The purpose of this regatta is to gather a variety of people interested in sailing to participate in a fun event. The regatta is open to EVERYONE; membership in MYC is not required. All Sunfish & Laser sailors are welcome – BYOB (bring your own boat!). The more the merrier … so please help pass the word!

Registration: Culver Town Park - East Pavilion 9:00 AM Same-day registration; no fee 9:30 AM – Skippers Meeting – attendance mandatory Mooring line available

Racing: 10:00 AM – Races begin Two races planned (wind permitting); standard ILYA racing rules apply; start sequence explained at Skippers Meeting. Trophies awarded based on best overall finishes.

Reminders: Please be sure your number is clearly displayed as you cross the finish line. Once you cross the finish line, please continue off the race course to clear the finish area for other racers.

Awards: 1st, 2nd and 3rd Places awarded in 4 categories: (Youth, Ladies, Senior Fleet & Laser)

Picnic Lunch: Lunch will be served at the Culver Town Park – East Pavilion immediately following the races for all sailors, crew and escorts.
