Rules: The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing and the Sailing Instructions.


Venue:
The Culver Academies are college preparatory boarding schools on the north shore of Lake Maxinkuckee. Culver, Indiana is located 100 miles SE of Chicago and 100 miles N of Indianapolis. Note that the Academy will also be hosting a Regatta the same weekend, launching from the beach adjacent to our Naval Building Headquarters. Parking may be a
        bit congested.

Fees: C Scows $100, MC Scows $85.  C Scows $115, MC Scows $100 if registered after September 7th.  Breakfasts and lunches included for two people for C Scow registration and one person for MC Scows. Extra breakfast/lunch package $30 per person.  

Facilities:   Scow launching via hoist; bring your bridle.  Wet-sail from the Naval Building Pier, stern line required.  In addition, the bay is shallow and the bottom is good holding for anchors. Bring your own anchor and float. We suggest rigging your boat Friday, 5-7PM. We will launch boats 7:30-9:30AM Saturday.

Note: We are guests of Culver Academies. Please be aware of your conduct and language. Alcohol, Tobacco & Smoking are not permitted on campus. 

In addition, we plan to distribute box lunches for Saturday at breakfast time for more racing time. They will be available during breakfast for you to take with you on your boat. A midday break for lunch on water will be provided, courtesy boats will ferry anyone to shore during lunch if needed.

LODGING

Housing: Available for fully vaccinated sailors at MYC member homes, 1st-come basis.  Book housing
early--there is a Notre Dame football game on Saturday!
